Craig Allen - Chairman

Craig Allen CMgr, MCMI - Is an accomplished Chartered Manager and is the current Chairman of the Isle of Man Branch of the Chartered Management Institute.

In addition to being one of the Islands few Chartered Managers, Craig holds an executive diploma in Management from the Chartered Management Institute and is also a member of the Institute of Business Consulting.

Craig's Previous roles include Senior Manager at Abbey International Bank, and Head of Operations/Customer Service at Scottish Provident International. His most recent role was Interim Manager of Operations at Alliance & Leicester International. Originally from Stockport, Craig has lived in the Isle of Man for 20 years and is married with one daughter.

Andrew Cairns - Chairman Designate

Andrew Cairns CMgr, FCMI, MAPM - Was the first person on the Isle of Man to be awarded the Chartered Manager award, and is currently the Chairman Designate of the Isle of Man Branch of the Chartered Management Institute.

In addition to being one of the Islands few Chartered Managers, Andrew is also a Member of the Association for Project Management and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from the Chartered Management Institute. Andrew has been a member of the Institute since1990 when he joined what was the then Institute of Industrial Management.

Prior to moving to the Isle of Man in 1999, Andrew held a number of Senior Management positions in a wide variety of Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing organisations manufacturing everything from Steam Engines to Turbine Engines, Looms to Tufting Machines. Since moving to the Island, amongst other positions Andrew held the position of Projects Manager at PDMS for 4 years and more recently has held the position of Datacentre Manager for Domicilium during which time he was responsible for buildng their state of the art Datacentre at Ronaldsway. Originally from Barnoldswick, Andrew has lived in the Isle of Man for 11 years where he is free to indulge in his passion for motorcycles and enjoy being permanently by the 'seaside'.

Jamie McKenna - Treasurer

 Jamie McKenna BSC (Hons) ACCA ACMI - James joined the Chartered Management Institute in 2010. Originally from the North West of England, James moved to the Isle of Man in 2001 after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University. Working for Peregrine Corporate Services Limited, James qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2005 and having headed up its accounts department for a number of years he was asked to join the board of directors in April 2010. James also married his fiancée in the same month. It has been quite a year!

James specialises in accounts preparation, trust and estate work and company administration. He joined the CMI to enhance his management skills, meet likeminded people and develop as a professional.

David Le Prevost - Marketing/ Event Manager

David Le Prevost FMAAT, FCMI -  Is the Marketing/ Event Manager for the branch and first joined the committee in 2007. He is the owner and Managing Director of Isleofman Dot Com Ltd, a media business focussed on the development of online news and directory resources for Isle of Man businesses and residents.  

Prior to that he held the position of Finance Director for a well known local video production and marketing company for 13 years and prior to that spent 15 years in the newspaper industry in various senior management positions.

David also holds various voluntary roles for several charitable and third sector organisations.
